What to have ready
None of this is required to start a conversation, but having it makes the first call substantially more useful.
- A rough sense of what your home is worth and what you still owe on it. Close is fine — this is not the appraisal.
- Which account your business revenue lands in. If it is split across two, or runs through a personal account, that is worth saying up front.
- What the money is for. It changes the advice more than people expect, and occasionally changes the recommendation to "don't."
- Roughly how long you have been self-employed, and whether you were doing similar work before that.
- Any recent credit events you already know about. Better raised early than discovered late.
What happens next
A short conversation, then a soft credit pull if you want a real number — soft pulls do not affect your score. If it looks workable, you connect your business account through a read-only link that returns 12 months of history in about two minutes. No tax returns, no profit-and-loss statement and no CPA letter at any stage.
If it does not look workable, you will hear that instead, along with what would change the answer. A clean file can fund in as little as five days.

Will I get passed to someone else after I inquire?
No. The form and the phone number both reach Korbin directly. If a specialist needs to be involved later, you will be told who and why.
Does reaching out pull my credit?
No. A conversation costs nothing and generates no inquiry. If you want a real number, pre-qualification uses a soft pull that does not affect your score. A hard pull only happens if you choose to move forward.
